it’s hard to chase after misinformation and misunderstandings online but i must once more insist that yes while the steam version of Cookie Clicker is 5 bucks the browser version is still and will forever remain free. no you do not have to buy it you can totally still play the free version forever if you’d like, it’s still gonna get updates with the same gameplay features over time. the paid game is just if you want C418 music/steam achievs/cloud saves/better modding and want to support us but i promise we’re not forcing you

why asre there two post buttons. why do i get little numbers next to 'home' and 'following' when btoh are giving me the exact same information. why is it that when you open the account view you have the exact same information on both sides of your screen. why is it that the activity popup obscuires the dashboard now instead of the 1000000 miles of empty space on my god damn desktop. did they not consider the concept of UI scaling at all?????
when i first saw people p[ostp about this i thought maybe they were overreacting because they hate twitter and change but like. whatever you think abotu the concept of 'putting all this shit on the left side of your screen' as a bold UI innovation or whatever in concept this shit is like. just straight up unfinished. like i legitimately dont understand how this was considered ready to roll out to users
This adorable little robot is designed to make sure its photosynthesising passenger is well taken care of. It moves towards brighter light if it needs, or hides in the shade to keep cool. When in the light, it rotates to make sure the plant gets plenty of illumination. It even likes to play with humans.
Oh, and apparently, it gets antsy when it’s thirsty.
The robot is actually an art project called “Sharing Human Technology with Plants” by a roboticist named Sun Tianqi. It’s made from a modified version of a Vincross HEXA robot, and in his own words, its purpose is “to explore the relationship between living beings and robots.”
I don’t care if it’s silly. I want one.
just painted an onion on a cutting board and i think it’s the peak of my artistic career
This is giving me emotions that I myself do not fully understand
Maybe you're just tearing up because someone has been cutting onions
Hi folks. There seems to be a lot of confusion about what we as fans can and can't do with the striking happening. So I made a flowchart.
Let me make this SUPER DUPER EXTRA CLEAR. Unless an AMPTP studio reaches out and says "We would like to give you X (money/swag/whatever) to create content for us" (that would include writing or acting in anyway on your part) you will NOT be crossing a picket line.
Cosplay, fanart, fanfic, going feral, sharing marketing posts, watching your favorite show, getting your friends to watch your favorite show, etc does not count.
It is ONLY scabbing if you are getting REIMBURSED by the STUDIO.
Please take this flowchart, repost it, spread it everywhere!
The studios benefit from us being confused. The studios benefit from us not promoting and not watching and cancelling our subscriptions. The unions, the actors, the writers, they all benefit from us promoting in their absence, they get paid when we watch the shows, we bolster their argument when we boost the shows numbers. If we make the media popular and successful the studios have to meet the writers and actors at the table, and the writers and actors will be in the position of power.
As for the influencer bit, FULFILL YOUR CURRENT CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS!!!! (or get yourself out of the contract and don’t sign new contracts) getting yourself blacklisted from working for studios doing ad-work, is NOT a good idea!! especially if you rely on, or wish to rely on influencing as your major (or only) source of income!!!
the like to reblog ratio being almost the same is so funny, people are NOT happy with at this update lmao
